OBU is now known for sending a disappointing (from the convention's perspective) number of ministry graduates to non-SBC seminaries.

Take any category of ministry workers: pastors, church staff, BCM staff, even BGCO staff... It's really quite surprising how few of them graduated from OBU. Why do you think the BGCO won't publish data on this? If it did, people would begin raising the same questions we raise on this blog. They do like to boast how many people they send to the mission field. But I would argue that influence has much more to do with Falls Creek than OBU.

Please call on the BGCO to publish data on pastors, church staff, BCM staff, and BGCO staff. We would love for the world to see how few went to OBU. It makes our case. But it will never happen, because the BGCO doesn't want people thinking too hard about this issue.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15050790418399919111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8524895972705575613.post-56003559039521053692012-04-07T20:37:49.289-05:002012-04-07T20:37:49.289-05:00I wonder if your calculations of evangelistic effe...I wonder if your calculations of evangelistic effectiveness of BGCO dollars spent on OBU take into account the number of pastors, and others in envolved in ministry, who graduated from OBU and are leading people to the Lord every day?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
